What is wrong with the world today we have war torn countries battling it out against each other and the shocking part about it all is these people are neighbours. Then we have terrorism where we are forced to suspect everyone or anyone around us. Talk of paranoia.
Muggings and murders now make the streets your home danger zones.
A force in themselves are the hurricanes christened with names tearing states apart and tsunamis that have the power to wipe out whatever is in its path.
No matter what act of god had been dealt on us it does not compensate for the heartache suffered by the relatives left behind of the thousands who perished or maimed.
Families where tragedy struck and they lost a loved one must have found it hard to accept and come to terms that god was behind this onslaught as some would see it.
For the survivors and bereaved persons the heartche and pain must have been unbearable after these assaults took place. Survivors of an aftermath as big as these suffer till their dying day tormented by flashbacks of the bloodied corpses, bodies without limbs and the deafening screams for help. It makes you wonder who are the real victims of disasters as such.
God has reasons why these tragic occurrences take place. Will we ever find out. It will always remain a mystery with no answers.
For people who may have lost a loved one to a freak of nature, murder or on the battle field then those loved ones now stand along side god. Will we ever find the real reason behind all the hatred and hurt in the world today. Do we really want to know? That is the question.
God works in mysterious ways and gives us back the courage to survive and deal with an aftermath. When disasters like this strike help relief and aid workers unite. The whole world stands to attention putting everything on hold to go and lend a hand. Any racial doubts in the past are forgotten at this hour of need. People from every nationality gather in forces to help ease the situation. Strangers regardless of the colour of their skin black white or yellow come together in UNISON.
It is sad to say that it takes death to get unison
Put hatred behind us and unite together with or without an aftermath then the world can be a better place. Smile and the whole world smiles with you.
